Nous faisons toujours de notre mieux pour prendre soin de vos biens pendant qu’ils sont entre nos mains. Mais des accidents peuvent parfois se produire. C’est la raison pour laquelle notre contrat de location impose aux clients d’être couverts pour leurs conteneurs et leur contenu. Nous offrons donc deux options.

Contents Protection Option

PODS' Contents Protection Option covers damage or loss to the items inside your PODS Container, and it also covers the container itself from loss or damage.

In the event your homeowner’s insurance policy covers your belongings during your move or storage project, this option covers ONLY your container.

Niveaux de protection

The Contents Protection Option does not cover items stored in the container that are prohibited by our Rental Agreement.
Damage to contents stored in the container caused by improper packing, normal shifting, or willful or intentional acts is not covered by the Contents Protection Option. By using proper packing and loading techniques, damage caused by normal container handling and road vibration can be significantly reduced. Damaged items will be replaced based on their depreciated value, which is the replacement cost minus any depreciation (loss of value over time due to factors such as age, wear and tear, and obsolescence).
The Container Only Option covers any loss or damage to your PODS container, no matter the cause, including lightning, windstorm, hail, fire, smoke, explosion, vandalism, riot, malicious mischief, falling objects or auto accidents. Damage to the container, however, will not be covered if it was caused by your willful or intentional acts. Under no circumstances will the Container Only Option cover any loss or damage to any property stored in the PODS container.
